Burrill Family Walnut Cake

2 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sour milk(buttermilk might substitute)
2 1/2 cups flour
2/3 cups walnuts
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoons soda
nutmeg, cloves, amount given

No method given

If I had to come up with a method, I would beat the eggs and sugar together. add the milk. Mix the dry together. Add the dry to the wet ingredients a third at a time. Add the walnuts and raisins.
